    Sustainability

At Acantha Collective, we place a strong emphasis on Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) factors in everything we do.

We are committed to reducing the carbon emissions from the operation of our business to net-zero by 2035.

An ESG action plan has been developed for our properties by internal and external specialists and advisors. We focus on climate and energy, material and resources, well-being and community.

    Our EPC commitment

The UK government gives each home an environmental rating from A to G known as an “EPC Rating.”

Whilst the UK government has recently relaxed the mandate to require all residential rental properties to have an A-C EPC rating by 2030, where cost-effective, we remain committed to this goal.

By improving the EPC rating of our properties, we are not only reducing our buildings’ energy consumption and carbon emissions but also reducing energy costs for our residents.

The ESG commitment requires action, not mere policy

Our parent company is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (“UNPRI”).

UNPRI aligns with the corporate spirit we work to promote and maintain through a commitment to the following principles: (i) incorporating ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes and (ii) seeking appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest. As a UNPRI signatory, our parent company reports on ESG performance each year.
